This is a great hotel and area if you're thinking about doing a Disney trip without being on property. Obviously we will always recommend staying onsite to take advantage of the free transportation options to and from the parks but sometimes you need to stay outside of the Disney bubble for a variety of reasons, and this hotel is going be a perfect choice to get you where you want to go inside Disney quickly as well as to locations on the west and south sides of the city of Orlando! Chincoteague Island is one of our favorite vacation destinations, and holds a special place in our hearts as it is the FIRST vacation destination we ever got to visit as a family! We have brought our kids back here time and time again to enjoy all that the island has to offer. It's the first place that three of our four kids got to see the ocean, it is where our bucket list started, and it's where our brainstorming for Plum Crazy Adventures began to grow! While we didn't get to visit all of our favorite restaurants during our time here, we did get to visit the Ropewalk Tavern and the Village Restaurant, which are by far two of our favorite places to eat! If you're a seafood nut like Meg, you definitely need to try the crab cake at Ropewalk and the Seafood Delight at the Village Restaurant! Delish! All of our boys have officially seen a launch from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility! This launch is the biggest we've seen yet and one of the larger rockets to be launched from Wallops. We couldn't have asked for a better day and just wished that we had better zoom and steadier hands to provide you a clearer image of this amazing event! Whether it be Mr. Whippy's, Sandy's Donuts, or driving around the island avoiding the mosquitos, Chincoteague has captured our hearts. The people who call this place home are some of the sweetest individuals you could ever hope to meet, and the nature that abounds here is inspiring. We hope this video gives you a glimpse into a few of the amazing things that are offered to those who decide to visit this historic island. Cabana Bay Resort is truly a destination all on its own, and it still boggles our minds that this resort is considered a value resort! Who needs to head to the parks when your resort has two themed pools (one with a waterslide and the other with a lazy river!), a bowling alley, one of the best hotel gift shops we've seen, and plenty of places to grab a quick bite while you're exploring??? This may be our most ambitious YouTube video yet, and we cannot WAIT to share it with you! Cruising is back and what better way to introduce cruising to our channel than to invite you along for a tour of the (currently) largest cruise ship at sea, the Wonder of the Seas! We explore theaters in Entertainment Place, soak in the sights and sounds of the Royal Promenade, become little kids again checking out the Boardwalk, before detoxing from the hustle and bustle of these entertainment meccas in tranquil Central Park. A ship tour wouldn't be complete without visiting the pool deck (WOW!) and finding a little peace in the Solarium before heading to the aft of the ship to Sports Deck to round out our tour by seeing the Abyss and FlowRider up close and personal! SO much to see and do on this ship, it really is incredible! We do want to say a huge thank you to our subscribers for your patience with us on getting this video out to all of you! It took a lot more editing than our normal videos with voiceovers and transitions we are still learning to do, and we have been taking advantage of having ALL of our boys home for the first time in 6 years!
